New flooring should fit the way you use your home, from busy kitchens and entryways to bedrooms and finished basements. Dream Space Remodeling installs luxury vinyl plank and laminate flooring and refinishes eligible hardwood floors. We review the existing floor, transitions and preparation needs before recommending a scope of work.
Luxury vinyl plank and laminate installation
We help you compare flooring options for the room, traffic level and maintenance you want. Installation planning covers layout direction, door clearances, transitions, trim and the condition of the subfloor. Removal of existing flooring and subfloor repairs are identified in the estimate so you can see what is included.
Hardwood floor sanding and refinishing
Refinishing can refresh worn hardwood while keeping the character of the original floor. We assess the remaining wood thickness and previous sanding before recommending further sanding. Some deep scratches, stains or damaged boards may require replacement or may remain visible; we discuss those limitations before work begins.
Preparation makes the difference
Uneven surfaces, loose subfloor sections and moisture conditions can affect the finished result. We review visible issues and explain any preparation required for the chosen product. If concealed damage appears after removal, we discuss the additional scope before proceeding.
Plan your flooring project
Tell us the rooms you want to update, approximate square footage, current flooring and whether the home will be occupied. Photos help start the conversation, while an on-site visit lets us review measurements, access and transitions. Your estimate will identify labor, materials supplied by each party, preparation and disposal.
Can every hardwood floor be refinished?
No. Thin boards, extensive damage or previous sanding may make replacement the better option. An inspection is needed before we can confirm whether your floor is a candidate.
